Pools & Beaches

Johnson County has numerous public pools and beaches, with amenities for all ages such as lap pools, water slides, lazy rivers, diving boards and more. Cool off this summer with a visit to one of the pools or beaches listed below.

  • Ad Astra Pool: Pool in Lenexa with three 25-yard (23 meters) lap lanes, a 180-foot (55 meters) current channel and large zero-depth entry area.

  • The Beach at Lake Olathe: A swim beach in Olathe featuring a lakefront beach, marina boat rentals, a floating obstacle course, concessions and more.

  • Black Bob Bay: Pool in Olathe featuring raft water slides, a lazy river, shallow water play structures, dive well with diving boards and more.

  • Fairway Pool: Pool in Fairway featuring lap lanes, diving boards, a zipline, Pool Pavilion, snack bar and more.

  • Flat Rock Creek Pool: Pool in Lenexa featuring shade structures, three 25-yard (23 meters) lap lanes, a diving board, basketball goal, rock wall and more.

  • Mill Creek Pool: Pool in Olathe featuring a water slide, lap pool, spray features and more.

  • Mission Family Aquatic Center: Pool in Mission featuring water slides, diving boards, lap lanes and more.

  • Oregon Trail Pool: Pool in Olathe featuring a water slide, lap pool, spray features and more.

  • Prairie Village Swimming Pool: Pool in Prairie Village featuring water slides, a dive pool, a baby/wading pool, 50-meter lap pool and more.

  • Roeland Park Aquatic Center: Pool in Roeland Park featuring a family slide, diving board, climbing wall, lap lanes and more.

  • Sar-Ko-Par Aquatic Center: Pool in Lenexa featuring a lazy river, eight lane 25-meter competition pool, deep-water alcove, climbing walls, water slide and more.

  • Shawnee Mission Park Beach: Swim beach in Shawnee featuring a lakefront beach, sand volleyball court, a marina with boat rentals and more.

  • Splash Cove at the Jim Allen Aquatic Center: Aquatic center in Shawnee designed to meet the needs of young children. It features a mini wave pool, instructional pond and 125-foot (38 meters) full body slide.

  • Spring Hill Aquatic Center: Pool in Spring Hill featuring beach-style zero-depth entry pool to water slides, a lazy river, diving boards and shaded cabanas.

  • Stonegate Pool: Pool in Overland Park featuring a spiral water slide, diving board, youth pool, 25-meter lap lane and more.

  • Thomas A. Soetaert Aquatic Center: Pool in Shawnee featuring a 50-meter competition pool, diving boards, body slides, lazy river, baby pool and more.

  • Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center: Pool in Overland Park featuring an inflatable play feature, water slides, 25-meter lap lane, cabana-style shaded lounge seating and more.
