Airport Drop and Ride
Beginning May 1, the new Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride will provide free shuttle service with stops at Kansas City International Airport, Lenexa City Center and Overland Park Convention Center.

The Kansas City Unity Cup, organized by Johnson County Park and Recreation District, brings together the diverse immigrant and heritage communities of the metro in a 16-team soccer tournament.
Johnson County Soccer Celebration
If you aren’t headed to Kansas City Stadium or FIFA Fan Festival™, make plans to watch a match at the Johnson County Soccer Celebration at the beautiful outdoor Theatre in the Park. In addition to watching all of the soccer excitement on a 20x30 foot LED screen, you can enjoy food trucks, public art, live entertainment, casual soccer play and hands-on activities for all ages.
Johnson County Fun Fact
Johnson County is actually older than the state of Kansas where it is located. Johnson County was created on August 25, 1855 by the Kansas Territorial Legislature. Kansas was founded more than five years later on Jan. 29, 1861, when it became the 34th state in the United States.
