Antioch Park: Located in Merriam, this oldest park in the county park system features two fishing lakes, walking paths, Johnson County’s only Vietnam War memorial, the iconic Dodge Town playground and more.

Big Bull Creek Park: A 2,060-acre (834 hectares) park, located between Edgerton and Gardner, focusing on nature-based learning, and featuring an 18-hole disc golf course.

Bietigheim-Bissingen Park: A park in Overland Park featuring a playground, a loop trail, bocce ball courts, a nature boardwalk, a water table, musical instruments, benches and shaded shelters and honors Overland Park’s German sister city.

Black Hoof Park: A park in Lenexa featuring the 35-acre (14 hectares) Lake Lenexa, dam and spillway, miles of trails and more.

​Cedar Niles Park: A park in Olathe west of K-7 featuring biking and hiking trails, streams, a playground and more.

Celebration Park: A community park and sports complex in Gardner with baseball and soccer fields, concession stands, 10-acre (four hectares) lake and more.

Ernie Miller Park: A 125-acre (51 hectares) nature park in Olathe featuring nature trails and a variety of habitats (Note: The nature center is currently closed.)

Gardner Junction Park: A roadside park in Gardner and one of the premier historic trail sites in Kansas, located near where westward travelers split off onto the wagon roads to Santa Fe, California or Oregon.

Gum Springs Park: A park in Shawnee featuring a playground, soccer and baseball/softball fields and more.

Heritage Park: A 1,000-plus acre (405 hectares) park in Olathe featuring picnic shelters, lake, dog off-leash area, 18-hole disc golf course, softball, football and soccer fields, and a golf course and driving range.

Indian Creek Trail: A paved multi-use trail covering more than 20 miles (32 kilometers) across Kansas City, Overland Park and more.

Ironwoods Park: A 115-acre (47 hectares) park in Leawood featuring the Prairie Oak Nature Center, The Lodge at Ironwoods, the Oxford School House, Camp Ironwoods, Ironwoods Challenge Course and the Ironwoods Amphitheater. 

Johnson County Square: A green space in downtown Olathe, featuring a community green, walkway, performance stage, History Plaza and more.

Kill Creek Park: A park in Olathe with four picnic shelters, and over 12 miles (19 kilometers) of hiking, mountain bike, and equestrian trails, and 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) of paved, shared use trails.

Kill Creek Streamway Park: A linear park in De Soto consisting of two separate segments of shared-use trail totaling about seven miles (11 kilometers) as well as an off-leash dog area.

Kingston Lake Park: A park in Overland Park featuring a large lake and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, with easy access from U.S. 69.

Leawood City Park: A 66-acre (27 hectares) park featuring soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, basketball goals, baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, an all-inclusive playground, a loop jogging trail and more.

Lexington Lake Park: A 465-acre (188 hectares) park in De Soto featuring a 27-acre (11 hectares) lake, trails, shelters and a one-mile (1.6 kilometers) mountain bike/hike trail.

Maple Hills Park: A park in Overland Park offering tons of open space, a brand-new playground, two pickleball courts, EV chargers, a solar-powered shelter and a restroom.

Meadowbrook Park: A park in Prairie Village featuring the Treeline Adventure destination playground, Grand Pavilion, shelters, pickleball courts, clubhouse and more.

Mill Creek Streamway Park: A linear park featuring eight access points and 17 miles (27 kilometers) of paved trail stretching from the Kansas River south to Olathe.

Mohawk Park: A park in Mission featuring an all-abilities playground, multi-sport court, pavilion and more.

Quivira Park: A park in Overland Park featuring a playground, sand volleyball courts and easy access to the Indian Creek Trail, 119th Street and Quivira Road.

Roe Park: A park in Overland Park offering several athletic fields, lighted tennis courts, a large playground with a splash pad and a connection to the bike and hike trails.

Rolling Magic Skate Park: An inclusive community skate park in Lenexa designed for all ages and skill levels.

Sar-Ko-Park Trails Park: A 50-plus acre (20 hectares) park in Lenexa featuring the Legler Barn Museum, disc golf course, playgrounds, roller hockey rink, fishing and more.

Shawnee Mission Park: A 1,600-plus acre park in Shawnee featuring a 120-acre lake with a swimming beach and marina, picnic areas, archery range, a 44-acre dog off-leash area, an 18-hole disc golf course, the Art Nine Disc Golf Course, biking and hiking trails, the Prairie Bike Park and more.

South Lake Park: A park in Overland Park with amenities for fishing, walking or jogging, outdoor strength exercise, basketball games and playing on the playground.
